Jacksonville-based Gate Petroleum Co. has several projects underway, including:
• Gate wants to renovate and expand its gas station and convenience store at 100 Monument Road in Arlington at a proposed cost of $1.9 million.
• Gate’s BFC Property Holdings Inc. wants to build a Gate Express Carwash on 1.81 acres at 7575 Gate Parkway in Southside Quarter at a cost of $2 million.
• Gate wants to raze and rebuild its store at southeast U.S. 1 and Valley Ridge Road in St. Johns County.
Circle K is building a gas station, convenience store and fuel canopy on 2.85 acres at 10615 103rd St.
W.H. Bass Inc. of Duluth, Georgia, is the contractor for the 5,200-square-foot convenience store, 4,176-square-foot fuel canopy for seven fuel pumps and a trash enclosure at the combined cost of $2.1 million.
