The city issued a permit Oct. 13 for Auld & White Constructors LLC to build-out Angie’s Subs at Jacksonville International Airport.
The Jacksonville Aviation Authority is leasing an 800-square-foot space on Concourse A for the Jacksonville Beach-based Angie’s Subs.
Jacksonville-based Auld & White is renovating the post-security space at a project cost of $426,800.
The authority is bringing more Northeast Florida flavor to the concessions at the airport at 2400 Yankee Clipper Drive in North Jacksonville.
Angie’s Subs will open a quick-service restaurant in early 2024 with a limited menu of about 10 of its most popular subs, including its signature, The Peruvian, made with ham, salami, bacon, Italian sausage, provolone cheese and Angie’s Peruvian sauce.
The restaurant will have a grab-and-go section with cold subs and salads, as well as bottles of hot sauce and Peruvian sauce for sale. It also will have breakfast items.
HMSHost operates most of the dining areas at the airport with Lee Wesley Group.
