Legislation authorizing appropriations for Jacksonville Mayor Donna Deegan’s Mayoral Task Force Programs and Initiatives was introduced Nov. 14 to City Council.

The proposed budget outlines more than $24 million for diverse projects throughout the city.

Categories include youth and families, building local businesses, addressing homelessness, beautifying Jacksonville, honoring military service members and veterans and health care.
