The city is reviewing a permit application for Webb Southeast Construction Corp. to build the first of two warehouses on Webb International’s next Imeson International Industrial Park center in North Jacksonville.

Orlando-based Webb proposes to build the 267,280-square-foot Warehouse A on 46.77 acres at 1215 Imeson Park Blvd. at a project cost of $10.25 million.

Dan Webb, president of Webb International and Industrial Park Investments, said Nov. 3 construction could start this week.

EnVision Design & Engineering is the civil engineer. LS3P Associates Ltd. is the architect. Both are based in Jacksonville.

Webb Southeast Construction Corp. plans to build two warehouses next to Imeson International Industrial Park center in North Jacksonville.

The permit application describes the project as a speculative warehouse for single-tenant occupancy. It says a separate permit would be needed if plans change for more than one tenant.

Webb said it is a spec building for a single tenant but it could be divided into spaces of 75,000 square feet for multiple leases.

Webb International previously filed plans for two buildings totaling 576,680 square feet with 144 loading docks.

The 46.8-acre site is at northeast Imeson Park Boulevard and Zoo Parkway.

The property owner and developer is Industrial Park Investments Inc., affiliated with Webb International.

Plans show Building B at 309,400 square feet.

Webb said Building B, at 1205 Imeson Park Blvd., is planned for construction when Building A is leased.

A 2.8-acre site is designated for future development.

Webb said in January he hoped to start construction on the first building in the third quarter of 2023 with occupancy ready by the third quarter of 2024.
