The city is reviewing a permit application for Dunkin’ to build a doughnut and coffee shop in Glen Kernan Park at an estimated cost of $400,000.

Metro Franchising Commissary LLC proposes to build a 1,836-square-foot, free-standing shop on 0.73 acre at 5101 Hodges Blvd., in the Glen Kernan Park development at northwest Butler and Hodges boulevards.

Plans show a drive-thru as well as interior seating.

Glen Kernan Park is an almost 50-acre mixed-use development across from the Publix-anchored Windsor Commons Shopping Center.

Dunkin’ is joining several developments at Glen Kernan Park, including a Gate Petroleum Co. gas station, convenience store and car wash; Culver’s; Slim Chickens; an Embassy Suites by Hilton hotel; and a housing development, all for 55+ residents, by RISE: A Real Estate Company.
