Jacksonville-based Liberty Landscape Supply announced May 1 it acquired Bob’s Irrigation and Landscape of Fernandina Beach.
Liberty said the deal expands its offerings to include irrigation system design, installation, repair and maintenance.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Liberty will retain Bob’s Irrigation and Landscape employees.
“Their expertise and experience in the irrigation and maintenance industry will help us provide even more comprehensive solutions to our customers,” said Mike Zaffaroni, CEO of Liberty Landscape Supply, in a news release.
Bob’s Irrigation and Landscape has served the Fernandina Beach area for more than 20 years, the release said.
Liberty Landscape Supply sells landscape materials to homeowners and contractors, a strong market with home construction, sales and renovations, it said.
It also offers delivery, consulting and installation.
Liberty has retail locations in Fernandina Beach and along North Main Street and San Jose Boulevard in Duval County.
The company bought Trad’s Garden Center in Jacksonville in 2019.
Zaffaroni is preparing to open his fourth commercial location at 5825 Florida 16 in St. Augustine in St. Johns County. The release said it plans to open this spring.
