St. Johns County is reviewing an application for the Elevation Pointe grocery store, previously announced as Publix, at southwest Florida 16 and Elevation Parkway in St. Augustine.

The 50,487-square-foot store is planned on 10 acres. Atlantic Retail – Orlando announced Jan. 3 that Publix Super Markets Inc. will be the major tenant of Elevation Pointe, which is set to open in summer 2024.

Elevation Pointe is designed for 420 town homes, 320 apartments, two hotels and 100,000 square feet of retail and office space. The property is across from the St. Augustine Premium Outlets and will be accessible by County Road 208 as well as Florida 16 and Interstate 95.

Circle K Stores Inc. also proposes to develop a convenience store and gas pumps in Elevation Pointe at southwest Florida 16 and Elevation Parkway. The 4,625-square-foot structure is proposed on 2.01 acres.
