Chipotle Mexican Grill announced its new restaurant at 9172 Baymeadows Road in Baymeadows is opening Dec. 29.
The restaurant will have a drive-thru. Hours are 10:45 a.m. to 10 p.m., the company said in a Dec. 27 news release.
The city issued a permit Sept. 21 for Chipotle Mexican Grill to build-out its space at a project cost of $541,275.
Duffey Southeast Inc. of Cedartown, Georgia, was the contractor.
The permit comes after the May 11 permit for construction of a 2,325-square-foot shell building and drive-thru for Chipotle on an acre at southwest Baymeadows Road and Western Way at a project cost of $1.425 million.
Premier American Construction Inc. of Green Cove Springs was the contractor.
Florida Retail Group LLC of Neptune Beach is the landlord.
It will be at least the 17th Chipotle in Northeast Florida.
