NAI Hallmark announced Dec. 4 it brokered a $2.085 million property sale for a Gate Express Carwash at 1475 Florida 207 in St. Augustine.
Jacksonville-based NAI Hallmark, a commercial real estate brokerage and property management firm, said Vice President Austin Kay brokered the transaction on behalf of the seller.
St. Johns County records show Ocala Herlong LLC of Jacksonville sold the land Nov. 30 to BFC Property Holdings LLC, the Gate Petroleum affiliate that buys land for the car washes.
Ocala Herlong LLC is led by Michael S. Setzer.
“As SR 207 in St Augustine FL continues to grow, this asset attracted plenty of interest. The nearby residential development, new grocery anchored retail developments, and new medical facilities all contribute to the increased traffic along this corridor,” Kay said in the release.
“Ultimately, Gate Car Wash continued their expansion efforts across Northeast FL with the purchase of this well-situated tract of land at the northeast corner of SR 207 and Hometown Lane.”
NAI Hallmark said the 2.54-acre property is 2 miles west of Downtown St. Augustine and fewer than 2 miles from I-95, “giving this property high traffic volume and ideal proximity to new development.”
