A second Cousteau’s Waffle & Milkshake Bar is opening May 11 in St. Augustine Beach.
The shop is at 3920 Florida A1A South, Suite 1, in the same shopping center as Parlor Doughnuts.
The original Cousteau’s is at 15 Hypolita St. in St. Augustine. It opened in 2013.
Stephan DiMare owns Cousteau’s Waffle & Milkshake Bar. He also owns Hyppo Gourmet Ice Pops and Mayday Ice Cream stores.
Cousteau’s Waffle & Milkshake Bar specializes in gourmet Belgian Liege Waffles and hand-spun milkshakes. Waffles are $6.95 to $9.95 and milkshakes are $5.95 to $7.49. Extra toppings are an additional charge.
The store promotes a 10% off deal for any customer coming in wearing a red beanie.
The store will feature Mayday Ice Cream and a coffee menu.
“Our focus has always been providing fun and unique flavors that are anchored by quality, homemade ingredients,” DiMare said in a news release.
Food discounts and giveaways are planned for opening day.
The new store will be open 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
