Clay County leaders want to hear from residents about proposed updates to the county land development code.

The project began in March and is expected to conclude by July 2023.

There are multiple ways residents can be involved.

A public open house is scheduled at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 10 in the Board of County Commissioners meeting room on the fourth floor at the Clay County Administration Building at 477 Houston St. in Green Cove Springs.

Residents are invited to attend to receive information about the proposed code changes and provide input.

Public comments also can be made during the Oct. 11 Board of County Commissioners meeting that begins at 4 p.m. in the commissioners meeting room.

Questions and public comments also may be submitted by email to [email protected] or by mail to: Department of Economic & Development Services, 477 Houston St., Third Floor, Planning & Zoning Division, Green Cove Springs, 32043.
