Fore Score is renovating 3,004 square feet of space for its family-friendly sports-themed concept.

The Jacksonville-based owners said previously they hope to open the venture this summer.

Fore Score Golf Tavern LLC is led by Daniel and Kerrie Hileman and partners Timothy and Kasey McInnis, Industry West founders Jordan and Anne England, and real estate investor and developer Andy Allen.

Upon entering, customers will be greeted with seating and a bar area designed with a lot of light.

Jacksonville-based online furniture retailer Industry West is relocating to 1001 Kings Ave.

Hileman said in January he hoped to start the project in March.

Kasper Architects + Associates is the architect, and Industry West will be a furniture supplier.

The partners designed the concept to include four bays for golf or other sports, a restaurant, alcohol service and outdoor patio seating in the back.

Hileman said Fore Score will seat 104, with each bay able to host a group of eight players.

Fore Score Golf Tavern plans to offer quick-service food items and seat a total of 104 patrons.
