Eastland sold the Bartram Market retail center to an affiliate of Publix Super Markets Inc. on Dec. 29 for $27.122 million.
Publix anchors the neighborhood grocery center at 155 Bartram Market Drive along Race Track Road at the south end of Bartram Park in St. Johns County.
Through Bartram Market LLC, Eastland sold the property to Real Sub LLC, part of Lakeland-based Publix.
Eastland, based in Ponte Vedra Beach, said in a Jan. 4 news release it sold the 79,059-square-foot Publix-anchored shopping center to Real Subs LLC.
Bartram Market is a part of Bartram Park, a 6,000-acre community developed by Eastland.
Bartram Market, built in 2020, is fully leased.
Eastland said it will retain the 10 commercial outparcels for ground lease.
Outparcel tenants include Wawa, Wendy’s, Aspen Dental, Dunkin’ Donuts, AutoZone and Island Wing Co.
The deed to Real Subs LLC was recorded Jan. 3 in St. Johns County.
It was Eastland’s second major property sale in days.
Eastland said Jan. 3 it sold 38.93 acres at Bartram Commons to Block One Ventures for $33 million.
Block One Ventures, an affiliate of Trevato Development Group, announced Dec. 31 it bought the Duval County property Dec. 30. The land is near Interstate 95 and Florida 9B on the north side of Racetrack Road, on Dec. 30.
Block One Ventures plans to develop the property in three projects totaling 1,069 multifamily units.
