The city issued a permit for CBJ Construction Inc. of Dania Beach to demolish interior space at 3614 Blanding Blvd. for ChenMed Dedicated Senior Medical Centers.
It also is reviewing a permit for remodeling the 13,213-square-foot space at a cost of $925,860 in the Cedar Hills shopping center.
Miami-based ChenMed expects to have eight area offices open by the first quarter of 2022.
Meanwhile, ChenMed bought property at 6841 Blanding Blvd. on Dec. 14.
Through JMCG Jacksonville 6841 Blanding Blvd. LLC, ChenMed owners paid $4.37 million for the property and took out a $4.86 million mortgage.
The Blanding Boulevard locations are about 3 miles apart.
