Over two days in December the Davis family, founders of the Winn-Dixie grocery chain, sold $109 million of Northeast Florida property.
On Dec. 28, through DDI Inc., the family sold three parcels in St. Johns County for a total of $24.2 million. The sale comprises 213 lots in Seabrook Village Phase 1 in the Nocatee master-planned community.
On Dec. 27 in Clay County, the family sold 3,000 acres of Governors Park in Green Cove Springs to BTI Partners of Fort Lauderdale for $85 million.
BTI intends to develop 4,000 homes along with apartments, commercial and industrial space, hotel rooms and a golf course.
Three homebuilders purchased the Seabrook Village Phase 1 lots:
• Providence Construction Company of Jacksonville bought 113 lots for $12.4 million.
The deed restricts construction to 1,450 to 2,400 square feet on 40-foot lots and 1,900 to 2,900 square feet on 50-foot lots.
• Riverside Homes of North Florida, Inc. of Fleming Island bought 64 lots for $7.3 million.

• Toll Southeast LP Company bought 36 lots for $4.5 million. The deed restricts home size to 1,900 to 2,900 square feet.
Nocatee amenities include the trails in Seabrook Park. The Nocatee Splash Water Park has a zip line and a four-story above-ground interactive spray playground. There are pools, a dog park and clubhouse.
Home prices are expected to start in the mid-$400,000s and be available in 2023, according to the Seabrook Village website.
