The Atlantic Boulevard car dealership row is adding an AutoNation USA dealership on 6.88 acres in Atlantic North.
The wooded site is next to the Audi Jacksonville dealership at 11401 Atlantic Blvd.
The city is reviewing civil engineering plans and issued a mobility fee calculation and concurrency reservation certificates for the proposed 19,884-square-foot dealership on land owned by Sleiman Enterprises.
Plans indicate it will sell used cars.
The city calculated a mobility fee of $110,387 for the project to mitigate the traffic impact.
Atlantic North is at northwest Kernan and Atlantic boulevards.
AutoNation, through Jacksonville ANUSA LLC of Fort Lauderdale, is the developer. Foresite Group LLC of Tampa is the civil engineer.
Atlantic Boulevard sports about 20 dealerships open or planned from Regency Square Mall at Monument Road east to Kernan Boulevard.
Another car sales and service center is planned near the AutoNation site.

A permit application to the city confirms that electric vehicle maker Tesla Inc. plans a sales, delivery and service center in Atlantic North.
The proposed $6.3 million “Tesla Service Center” is described as a 45,505-square-foot building at 11585 Atlantic Blvd.
