The city issued six permits Oct. 12 for construction of the Linden House apartments in Bartram Park at a cost of $36.2 million.
RISE General Contractors LLC is the contractor for the project on 10.84 acres at 14950 Bartram Commons Drive.
The permits comprise three four-story apartment buildings along with maintenance and pool cabana buildings.
RISE announced Oct. 6 it will build Linden House, a $60.1 million, 295-unit apartment community along Race Track Road.
The developer said it bought the 5255 Race Track Road property for the apartments Sept. 30.
RISE said it will work with real estate private equity firm Origin Investments on the development.
The apartments, planned for completion in February 2023, will rent at market rates.
The property is near Florida 9B and the Durbin Pavilion retail development in South Jacksonville near St. Johns County.
Linden House will offer studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom units. It will have two resort-style pools, a courtyard, clubroom, common kitchen and fitness center.
Units will feature granite countertops, walk-in closets, private balconies and washer-dryers.
Charlan Brock Architects is the architect and England, Thims & Miller Inc. is the civil engineer.
RISE will develop, build and manage the community.
RISE also is developing The Julington apartments in Mandarin and The Doro in Downtown Jacksonville.
