Military veterans in Jacksonville looking for a job can connect with employers Nov. 18 at TIAA Bank Field.
The Jacksonville Veterans Job Fair presented by RecruitMilitary is 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the second level of the TIAA East Club. Parking and admission are free.
Online registration is available for transitioning personnel, discharged veterans and their spouses and dependents.
“Our driving purpose is to empower veterans to find meaningful work opportunities in the private sector,” said Tim Best, CEO of RecruitMilitary, in a news release. “We work with companies throughout the world that see tremendous value in the transferable skills that military trained personnel bring to their organizations.”
Nearly 60 companies will be interviewing candidates including Airstreams Renewables, Baker Constructors, Duval County Public Schools, U.S. Postal Service, city of Jacksonville, the Gainesville, Memphis and Savannah police departments, Florida Department of Corrections, Ring Power Corp., Military Sealift Command, temporary staffing companies and others.
