The Jacksonville Jaguars announced May 26 that Kelly Flanagan and Megha Parekh were promoted to executive vice president of business planning and executive vice president and chief legal officer, respectively.
Flanagan has served as the team’s chief financial officer since 2014. In her new role, she will provide financial oversight to owner Shad Khan’s sports and entertainment properties and use business analytics and insights across the organization, according to a news release from the Jaguars.
She joined the Jaguars in 2012 and holds an M.S. in sports management from Columbia University and a bachelor’s and MBA from St. Joseph’s University.
Parekh has served as the team’s chief legal officer since 2016, managing legal, technology, office services and people development teams for Khan’s companies. She handles legal matters, employee training, security, technological systems, capital project management and real estate development.
She joined the organization in 2013. Parekh attended Harvard College and Harvard Law School.
“I’m exceedingly proud of today’s announcement as both Kelly and Megha are longtime and integral members of our team,” Jaguars President Mark Lamping said in the release.
“They have also provided crucial leadership within the Jaguars, offering mentorship to every level of staff within our organization. It’s an honor for me to recognize this milestone in their careers.”
