The St Johns River Water Management District is reviewing plans for a 10,640-square-foot Dollar General store on 1.47 acres along Blanding Boulevard, south of 103rd Street.
The city is reviewing a permit for City Gear to open at 6290 103rd St. in Anchor Plaza.
The application shows a 4,644-square-foot build-out at a cost of $249,800.
City Gear, part of Hibbett, sells athletic and casual footwear and apparel.
Hibbett.com shows seven Hibbett Sports stores in Northeast Florida.
Proctor Ace Hardware is making interior and exterior renovations to its store at 5723 University Blvd. W. in the Englewood area.
Tim Young Construction Inc. is the contractor for the $716,430 project.
The city issued a permit June 11.
