Medical supplies distributor Sarnova is shown on a brochure as a new tenant in Park 295, an industrial center in Northwest Jacksonville at southwest Interstate 295 and Duval Road.

The Dublin, Ohio-based company would join Ulta Beauty and Quiet 3PF in Building B at 2619 Ignition Drive in the park, designed for five buildings.

Sarnova matches the description of the unidentified Project Robalo, a national distributor of medical devices, equipment and pharmaceuticals seeking a city grant up to $260,000 to create 25 jobs at an undisclosed Northwest Jacksonville location.

Sarnova says it is a national specialty distributor of health care products in the emergency medical services and acute care markets. The company comprises major business units: Bound Tree Medical, Cardio Partners, Emergency Medical Products, Digitech and Tri-anim Health Services.

Sarnova is a company of Patricia Industries, a part of Investor AB, which Sarnova says invests in companies with strong market positions, brands and corporate cultures. Patricia Industries’ European, Asian and North American investments are part of an Investor Growth Capital legacy portfolio.

Sarnova.com shows distribution centers in Orlando, California, Mississippi, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and two in Texas.

NorthPoint Development, based in Kansas City, Missouri, is the Park 295 developer. Newmark Phoenix Realty Group of Jacksonville is the landlord’s representative.

Sarnova has not responded to a call or emails for comment. Newmark Phoenix Realty Group declined to comment about the company.

The site brochure shows Sarnova will occupy space in the 552,634-square-foot Building B, joining two neighbors.

Ulta Beauty Inc., which qualified for a city grant as Project Flamingo, is leasing 203,463 square feet of space and Quiet 3PF is a tenant for 174,157 square feet in the structure, leaving 175,014 square feet for Sarnova. Robalo wants 131,000 square feet, according to city documents.

Robalo, which is expected to be introduced to City Council, is considering Jacksonville or Savannah for a new distribution and fulfillment center, according to the city’s draft project summary.

Robalo proposes to lease the space in a newly developed warehouse space in Northwest Jacksonville and create at least 25 full-time jobs at an average annual wage of $58,594 by year-end 2022.

The wage, plus benefits, is higher than Florida’s average wage of $49,472.

The company seeks a 50%, 10-year Recapture Enhanced Value Grant based on the increase in tangible personal property taxes generated at the project site.

The city said the project involves a private capital investment of $6.72 million comprising $2.4 million for tenant improvements and $4.3 million for equipment, furniture and fixtures.

To comply, it must make a minimum $3 million capital investment by the end of 2022.

The summary said the company is in the targeted global logistics and distribution industry and complies with the city’s public investment policy.
