Owner Alex Jaramillo plans to open his second House of Shaves Barbershop in Jacksonville in early November.
The city is reviewing a permit application for House of Shaves Barbershop at 501 Riverside Ave., No. 108, in the Brooklyn-Riverside area of Downtown.
“We chose this location because it’s in the heart of the one of the fastest-growing areas of Jacksonville for the younger demographic and its proximity to the offices and apartments in the area,” Jaramillo said.
Duckworth Construction Co. is the contractor for the $104,000 project for the 983-square-foot shop.
The first House of Shaves opened in November 2015 at 4160 Southside Blvd., No. 7, in the Gates of Tinseltown.
Jaramillo, 31, started the Jacksonville-based company.
The menu of services is online at houseofshaves.com and includes a classic haircut ($25), straight razor shave ($35), beard trim ($15) and add-on services like waxing, a neck shave and shampoo.
