Indianapolis-based Scannell Properties continues to apply for review and permits for its proposed 85,000-square-foot speculative distribution center planned along Powers Avenue, east of St. Augustine Road and west of Philips Highway.

Scannell filed civil engineering plans with the city and with the St. Johns River Water Management District.

Kimley-Horn and Associates Inc. is the civil engineer. Scannell Properties #458 LLC bought the vacant 7.8 acres Sept. 15  for almost $1.1 million from the Charles W. Bostwick Revocable Trust.

The company said the property will be developed with a speculative building for tenants needing from 10,000 to 40,000 square feet of space.

Amazon conveyors

The city issued a permit Sept. 24 for Bryan Builders LLC to install a conveyor system for Amazon.com at the online retailer’s fulfillment center at 12900 Pecan Park Road at a cost of $526,781.
