One of the biggest entertainment venues in Northeast Florida is back.
Topgolf Jacksonville is reopening May 18. Hours are 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily.
The driving range near St. Johns Town Center, where golfers eat, drink and try to hit targets, announced the reopening in an email to customers May 15.
The venue closed March 16 because of the COVID-19 outbreak.
The reopening comes with added safety measures, the company announced.
Six-foot social distancing markers will be displayed throughout common areas. Golf bays will be limited to six people.
Golf clubs, golf balls, game screens and other frequently touched bay surfaces will be disinfected between each group. Menus will be printed or available through smartphone.
Employees will have a health check before starting work and must wear a mask. Workers must wear gloves while handling food and drink.
Customers are not required to wear masks.
Topgolf is at 10531 Brightman Blvd. near Town Center and Butler Boulevard and Interstate 295.
Topgolf entertainment center opened in Jacksonville in 2016, operating a 65,000-square-foot building that includes 102 climate-controlled hitting bays, a full-service scratch kitchen, three bars, a rooftop terrace, more than 200 TVs, and other games.
There are 56 Topgolf locations in the U.S. The first to reopen from the pandemic was in Oklahoma City on May 11.
