CBRE Group Inc. promoted North Florida Senior Managing Director William “Tripp” Gulliford to executive managing director of the commercial real estate company’s Florida region.
The company said Gulliford will oversee the operations of the Los Angeles-based company’s eight Florida offices and drive the strategy to grow its advisory services lines.
Those lines of business include advisory and transaction services; investment sales; debt and structured finance; property management; valuation and advisory services; and project management.
Gulliford will report to Chris Connelly, CBRE’s group president of Americas Advisory Services. Gulliford remains based in Jacksonville
“Tripp is a strong leader who has helped improve our North Florida business and operations. Our clients and professionals throughout Florida will benefit from his leadership,” Connelly said in a May 14 news release.
Before joining CBRE in 2013, Gulliford was managing director of EverBank Commercial Advisors. He previously was a development executive with Midland Development Group and Regency Centers. CBRE said that earlier in his career, Gulliford practiced general business and commercial real estate law.
Gulliford also served as the chair of the Jacksonville Housing Finance Authority. He has a J.D. from Stetson University College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of the South.
CBRE Group says it is the world’s largest commercial real estate services and investment firm, based on 2019 revenue.
It has more than 100,000 employees and more than 530 offices worldwide.
