Busloads of students descended on Downtown Jacksonville Feb. 28 for the annual World of Nations Celebration at its new home.
The World of Nations moved from its 28-year home at Metropolitan Park to The Ford on Bay site at 220 and 230 E. Bay St. because of the planned demolition of the Hart Bridge ramps.
The festival is at The Ford on Bay site at 220 and 230 E. Bay St. It's the site of the former Duval County Courthouse and City Hall. The buildings were demolished in 2019, leaving a 5.28-acre lawn
The event Feb. 28 was Field Trip Day presented by Water Ventures, with attendance for elementary and middle school students.
The festival is open to the public Feb. 29 to March 1.
There is no designated event parking. Attendees are encouraged to use the Yates Garage at 200 E. Adams St.
