The A.C. Moore store in Oakleaf Town Center was issued a store closing permit Feb. 26.

Nicole Crafts, the company that owns the arts and crafts retail chain, announced in November it was closing all its stores.

The store at 9515 Crosshill Blvd., is the chain’s only Northeast Florida location.

“Unfortunately, given the headwinds facing many retailers in today’s environment, it made it very difficult for us to operate and compete on a national level,” A.C. Moore CEO Anthony Piperno said in November.

A.C. Moore stopped taking online orders in November but said it will ship any previously placed orders.

The store closing permit is valid through March 28.

Store hours are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday-Saturday and 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday.
