Lego scheduled a grand opening this week of its store in 4663 River City Drive in St. Johns Town Center.
The store is in a space in front of Dillard's
The two-day building event will feature Lego master builder Dan Steininger, who will construct a Yoda model out of Lego bricks.
There will be other events, including a race ramp to build and race a Lego car and Duplo tables for younger builders.
Grand opening events are noon to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
The Lego Group is a Denmark-based privately held, family-owned company with offices in London, Shanghai, Singapore and in Enfield, Connecticut.
In addition to selling the products in retail stores and online, Lego operates worldwide stores, including more than 90 among about 35 states.
Lego.com lists Florida stores in Aventura Mall, Dadeland Mall, Disney Springs, Sawgrass Mills Mall and Westfield Brandon Mall.
