Springfield Community Development LLC10 bought a two-story brick building at northwest Main and 12th streets, adjacent to Andrew A. Robinson Elementary School, in the Springfield Warehouse District.
Springfield Community Development LLC10, managed by Daniel Kaufman, bought the property Oct. 29 from Orange Park-based Screen Process Printers Inc. for $515,000.
Kaufman did not respond to requests for comment about his plans for the property.
Screen Process Printers Inc., led by James Sullivan, paid $130,000 for the property in 1984.
The Springfield Community Development purchase included a 0.23-acre vacant commercial parcel across West 12th street at 2124 N. Main St. Screen Process Printers Inc. paid $10,000 for that property in 1997.
Sullivan said he is retiring after 60 years in business. He sold the screen printing business and the buyer plans to relocate it to a location near Myrtle Avenue and Dennis Street, he said.
The new business owner plans to retain the name and contact information.
