The Shops at Amelia Market, the Fernandina Beach shopping center anchored by the Harris Teeter grocery store, was acquired in December by Atlanta-based Coro Realty Advisors for $14.8 million.
The 75,221-square-foot center at 4800 First Coast Highway is near The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island hotel. The seller, an entity affiliated with Atlanta-based The Simpson Organization, was represented by The Shopping Center Group.
According to a news release, the center is 83 percent leased, with Harris Teeter signing a 15-year lease extension as part of a 2017 renovation. Other tenants include Keller Williams Realty, Amelia Liquors, Brook’s Rehab, Ly’s Nails and fashion boutique Evelyne Talman.
“The Shops of Amelia Market will be held as part of Coro's long-term, grocery-anchored portfolio, which includes similar properties in Alabama, Florida, Georgia and Tennessee,” said John Lundeen, managing partner of Coro Realty Advisors, in a news release.
