The brick on the east side of the former City Hall Annex is being removed before the building is imploded, scheduled Jan. 20, although the date may change.

By the time the demolition charges are ignited, scheduled Jan. 20, most of the exterior of the former City Hall Annex at Bay and Newnan streets Downtown already will be on the ground.
Workers are removing much of the brick, glass and steel, leaving behind to be imploded the structural concrete and steel components.
