Tallahassee-based Canopy Road Cafe said Tuesday that its grand opening in South Jacksonville is Feb. 25.
The restaurant previously announced the grand opening would be Feb. 23.
The 56-seat restaurant, which the company describes in a news release as a modern diner concept, is in the Shoppes of Bayard at 12525 Philips Highway.
Canopy Road Cafe serves traditional breakfast and lunch fare. Breakfast items include pancakes, waffles, French toast, skillets and build-your-own omelets. Lunch includes sandwiches, salads, wraps and half-pound burgers. Most entrees are $8 to $10.
The restaurant will operate 6:30 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. daily. Diners at the grand opening will receive free coffee.
Canopy Road Cafe debuted in 2007. This is the first location outside Tallahassee, where the chain has three cafes.
Brothers Nick and Zachary Presti will oversee the Jacksonville location as operating partners. Nick Presti managed Canopy Road Café’s Southwood and Parkway locations in Tallahassee.
