Fort Lauderdale-based real estate investor Arbor Place ROI LP paid $16.89 million for the Arbor Place Apartment Homes in a sale that closed Dec. 18.
Arbor Place ROI LP, an affiliate of R.O.I Capital Group, secured a $12.5 million mortgage from ROC Real Estate Inc.
The project was built in 1970 at 5800 Barnes Road S., east of University Christian School, near Interstate 95 and University Boulevard. It sits on 10.74 acres.
The seller, Miami-based MAC Arbor LLC, bought the community in 2014 for $6.87 million.
Amenities include a pool, playground, pet area, outdoor pavilion and laundry facilities.
The roi-cap.com/en site says R.O.I is a privately held real estate investment company that acquires and manages properties. The company owns and operates a property management company, S.N.S. Property Management.
