Sleiman Enterprises paid $3.2 million for the 94-year-old building in San Marco Square it acquired Thursday.
The property is the two-story, 8,200-square-foot building at 1974 San Marco Blvd. It is on the south side of the street in front of Balis Park and the San Marco Lions sculpture.
According to property records, the buyer was Marco Square Land LLC, a company affiliated with Sleiman. The seller was San Marco Limited Partnership, led by investor T. Wayne Davis. Davis bought the property in 1990 for $900,000.
The acquisition includes adjacent properties at 1980 and 1972 San Marco Blvd. Tenants are Starbucks and Beau Outfitters.
The 1974 San Marco Blvd. property, which is vacant and has been listed for lease, formerly was used by Bohemian Lounge, Indochine and Square One.
The property includes exposed brick, domed terrace doors and vaulted ceilings. It has kitchens and bars on both floors.
Jacksonville-based Sleiman Enterprises says it owns and manages more than 5 million square feet of retail space in Florida and the southeastern United States.
Sleiman Enterprises bought the Lakewood Promenade shopping center for $24.5 million in May. The company formerly owned The Jacksonville Landing.
