The trend of developing infill residential in Jacksonville is continuing in Riverside.
Builder John Merrill Homes has begun construction on 17 homes on Green Street and six homes on Ernest Street.
The Green Street homesites are two blocks west of King Street, and the Ernest Street site is at the intersection with Stockton Street.
“Our various unique floor plans blend perfectly into Riverside,” said New Homes in Riverside Partner/Builder Adam Merrill. “We are very proud to be part this beautiful Jacksonville neighborhood. It’s a great community and our homes are made with the Riverside buyer in mind. ”
Homes will be 1,802 square feet to 2,414 square feet. Each design offers entrances across a veranda or covered porch.
The homes will have three or four bedrooms and 2½ or three bathrooms. Prices will start at $350,000.
The highest-priced home is $442,000, but early buyers have the opportunity to personalize and upgrade.
A model home is expected to be completed in March.
Features include hardwood floors on the first floor, wood stairs, crown molding in the main living areas, 15 color schemes and custom options.
Homes on Green Street will have a homeowners association to maintain professionally landscaped yards.
New Homes in Riverside is a member of Riverside Avondale Preservation.
