The city approved renovations for Surplus Warehouse to lease about 31,800 square feet of space in Regency Park next to the Bealls Outlet at 9400 Atlantic Blvd.

Arkansas-based Surplus Warehouse describes itself as a deep-discount home improvement supplier of products for floors, kitchens, doors and windows.

The retailer is part of E.C. Barton & Co. of Jonesboro, Arkansas.

Most of its goods are overstocks, closeouts, factory surplus, discontinued projects or the previous year’s models bought directly from the manufacturer.

The company does not deliver. It introduced a design center for free estimates on plans for home improvement projects.
