Renovations continue toward completion of Florida Cracker Kitchen at 14329 Beach Blvd in Pablo Station.

A former tire store is under conversion to a 4,000-square-foot restaurant for Brooksville-based Florida Cracker.

Brothers Blair and Ethan Hensley are partnering with ServStar Management Group of Jacksonville Beach to open the restaurant and tap room. It also will sell Florida Cracker Trading Co. merchandise.

Blair Hensley said Wednesday there is no specific opening date, but that it is “getting close.”

Florida Cracker Kitchen will comprise a dining room, bar, private dining, kitchen, outdoor dining at the entrance and back patios for dining and the bar.

Hensley said previously  the 150-seat Jacksonville location will be remodeled to resemble the Brooksville restaurant. He said that the merchandise sales will be scattered within the operation.
