On Thursday, the Jacksonville Women Lawyers Association hosted its final continuing legal education luncheon of the 2016-17 membership year.

Attorney Audrey Moran, senior vice president for social responsibility and community advocacy at Baptist Health, spoke on the topic of women and confidence.

Her advice was to stop apologizing, learn to say yes and don’t take yourself too seriously. Moran illustrated her points with anecdotes and stories from her life and emphasized that being honest and authentic is empowering and builds confidence.

The luncheon was funded in part by a Health and Wellness Grant from The Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division.
