Latrece Brown was named the 2017 Florida Blue Duval County Teacher of the Year at the 26th Annual EDDY Awards. A fourth-grade math and science teacher at Andrew Robinson Elementary School, she was selected from nominees at 173 public schools and will compete for the state title. The program is an initiative of the Jacksonville Public Education Fund. She will compete in the statewide teacher of the year competition.
