The Jacksonville Women Lawyers Association hosted a path-to-the-judiciary panel at its monthly luncheon, featuring circuit and county judges who highlighted the differences between seeking election and being appointed to the bench. They also addressed challenges they face as women in the profession, and shared how judges are trained and how hard judges work to “get it right” every time to ensure justice.
