National homebuilder KB Home is planning a 109-home neighborhood in Mandarin.
Price Park, at Hood Road South and Lourcey Road, will comprise homes from 1,769 square feet to more than 3,000 square feet starting in the mid-$200,000s.
According to the Duval County Clerk of Courts website, KB Home purchased three adjoining properties totaling 32.9 acres between Hood Road South and Historic Kings Road South for $3.63 million.
Linda Daniels and Warren Tyre, certified commercial investment members with CRES Commercial Real Estate Inc., brokered the sale.
The entrance to the subdivision will be off Hood Road South at Lourcey Road.
The site plan shows three ponds within the development and no amenity center.
“KB Home is very excited about opening its newest community in the Mandarin market and providing quality homes at a great value,” said Todd Holder, president of KB Home’s Jacksonville division.
“Price Park will offer homebuyers the chance to build a new home that they can not only personally design to fit their budget and style, but also a home that is extremely energy-efficient,” he said.
