What was once a luxury Intracoastal condo tower project has re-emerged as a waterfront townhome complex.

Bove LLC and Remi Properties announced the launch of the Aphora Coach Homes at Marina San Pablo, an $11 million development.

Construction for first phase of the upscale townhomes will begin in May.

Bove is the general contractor and the initial phase will consist of 11 ultra-luxury, waterfront townhomes within the Marina San Pablo gated community, which already holds a 56-unit condo tower.

Prices for the coach homes range from $770,000 to $1.4 million.

The property sits on the Intracoastal Waterway at Butler Boulevard near the St. Johns Town Center, Interstate 295 and the beaches.

The townhomes replace a high-rise luxury condo tower planned there a year ago. Slow pre-sales caused the development team to change its focus in December.

Prices for original project ranged from $600,000 to $2 million for condos 2,500 to 5,200 square feet.

Bove and Remi Properties were the developers behind the award-winning 5 Thousand Town, a luxury apartment community at St. Johns Town Center which sold last year for $27.1 million.
