Laura Boeckman, North Florida Bureau Chief of the Attorney General’s Consumer Protection Division, received The Florida Bar’s 2015 Consumer Protection Lawyer of the Year Award. The award was presented in recognition of Boeckman’s career commitment to the principles and ideals of consumer protection. Attorney General Pam Bondi bestowed the award, recognizing Boeckman’s leadership that helped the North Bureau obtain nearly $15 million in restitution for Florida consumers.
