Pets: My daughter has been begging me to let her get a dog for many years and I’ve always resisted. However, at the beginning of the school year, I made a bet with her that if she brought home all A’s this year, I would buy her a dog. I’m happy to report that I lost the bet. Her English retriever (yet to be named) will be coming home at the end of the month.
