What started out as a networking opportunity has become an eyeopener, especially in its role in eradicating polio worldwide and providing funding locally to the Wildflower Clinic. How can someone else become involved? Submit an application to your local Rotary Club, attend as a guest and make the commitment. What have you learned/achieved through the experience? Locally, there is such a need for one-stop health clinics for underserved communities. What was the last book you read or are reading? I manage to scare myself out of finishing “The Shining Girls” by Lauren Beukes every time I pick it up again.
