Community involvement: I volunteer at a weeklong summer camp for children with cancer and their siblings, Camp Happy Days, in South Carolina. I am also the public defender working with Girls Court, a voluntary program for at-risk girls designed to prevent recidivism and future involvement in the dependency system.
How did you become involved? As a child, I was a camper at Camp Happy Days. Now, I try to give children the support I was given as a child.
