How did you become involved?

My wife sings in the worship band. I was recruited to teach a Bible study group Wednesday nights.

How can someone else become involved?

The best way is to come to our Sunday morning service (10:30 a.m.) and just get plugged in. There are so many different community service projects going on there and we’re always looking for more people willing to be active in serving the community.

What have you learned/achieved through the experience?

To be a positive influence, my focus and concern needs to be on others rather than myself.

What was the last book you read or are reading?

To be honest, when I have a free moment I am looking to catch the surf or paddle board if the waves are flat.
