How did you get involved?

I was requested years ago to assist with a missing service member and further requests came thereafter.

How can someone else get involved?

Reach out to the city’s Office of Veteran’s Services, or try the Navy or Marine volunteer charitable organizations. They will find you if you express an interest in those organizations.

What have you learned/achieved through the experience?

That we owe so much to those young men and women who put themselves in harm’s way so that we can continue to enjoy our personal freedoms. The responsibility shouldered by them is incredible.

What was the last book you read or are reading?

“Marching With Caesar — Conquest of Gaul,” by R.A. Peake.
