How did you become involved?
I wanted to join an organization that provided diverse philanthropic services and enabled me to work with other great women leaders in our community.
How can someone else become involved?
Find something you’re passionate about and sign up. Or if there’s not an organization that meets your needs, create one.
What have you learned through the experience?
Everyone reading this is extremely fortunate. We sometimes focus so much on our troubles, we don’t fully appreciate our blessings.
What was the last book you read or are reading?
My Mommy reading or my Big Girl reading? I’m fumbling my way through “Cloud Atlas” by David Mitchell. And also “My Big Truck Book,” four times per day, minimum.
