How did you become involved? I worked as an AmeriCorps fellow for a year and then was hired as a staff attorney at Three Rivers Legal Services.
How can someone else become involved? Three Rivers welcomes pro bono attorney involvement and other opportunities to volunteer are abundant. I think that the hard part is doing what we should do instead of what we feel like doing.
What have you learned/achieved through the experience? I have learned that it is a privilege to earn a living as a lawyer for deserving clients, without having to charge them.
What was the last book you read or are reading? “Top Secret,” by Web Griffin and William E. Butterworth IV
